Yoga for the Developing Brain

The health of our bodies and brains affect our ability to function each day. A healthy body and brain makes it easier for us to sleep well, focus, control our impulses, modulate our moods, and so much more! Beginning to address brain health at a young age can also help stave off a variety of health issues later in life, such as Parkinson's Disease, Dementia, and Alzheimer's - all diseases for which individuals with ADHD and ASD have an elevated risk of developing.

ELS is partnering with Jane Stelboum of Sarasvate to offer two one-time classes on yoga and the brain. Jane is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 500 and Educator (EYT) 500 with Yoga Alliance. She has also completed the Integrated Yoga for Seniors program at Duke University, is a Certified Brain Longevity Training Specialist through the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation. Her specialty area is in healthy aging and brain longevity. https://sarasvate.com/about/

Not only will attendees learn the basics of yoga and meditation, but how to use their bodies and breath to energize them, improve their focus, or calm themselves down, as needed.

Join us for this transformative, in-person yoga experience at Opus Yoga in Gaithersburg, MD, USA. Don't miss this opportunity to nurture your mind and body. Reserve your spot now!
